On 26th January 2019, the King's Impact Investing Society will be hosting a conference consisting of a series of keynote presentations and panel discussions. It will introduce various aspects of impact investing such as measurement of impact, making an impact through new technologies and investing in companies that are creating a positive impact with regard to ESG.

Founder and Managing Partner, EnergyPro
Steven founded EnergyPro in 2012 to help accelerate investment into the energy transition, especially in energy and resource efficiency. EnergyPro has a consultancy company which advises corporates, financial institutions, the EU and national governments and an investment company that has a JV with EESL, the Indian energy efficiency company, which has deployed more than £60m over the last 2 years. Steven also sits as the independent member of the Investment Committee of the London Energy Efficiency Fund and is an adviser to an early stage VC fund backing clean tech businesses in Europe and the US.
Tom has more than 8 years' of experience in the investment management industry and spent 4 years as part of the impact investment team at Wellington Management. Most recently, he co-founded tickr which is a brand new app built to make impact investing accessible to everyone. tickr has already been recognised by Tech Nation as one of the top 33 companies in the UK Tech sector.
Manager, ESG Analytics and Client Delivery, Trucost
Rick Lord achieved a BSc from the Queensland University of Technology and following that he completed his Masters in Environmental Economics from Imperial College London. Rick Lord heads the ESG management and value creation team at Trucost. Here he manages a team that delivers reports for corporate and financial institution clients. He also leads product development and innovation programs for Trucost, as well as the Corporate Carbon Pricing Tool - this helps companies by analyzing the financial risk and opportunities associated with increasing carbon regulation, and the SDG Evaluation Tool - this assesses companies and helps them align their strategies according to the Sustainable Development Goals implemented by the UN.
